Valid Documents for Date of Birth Proof

Do you have an address? Sounds like a fun question! No, it`s not a funny question. There are people who do not have an address in society (sometimes people deliberately hide their address). Proof of address is a mandatory requirement to open a bank account, get admission/join an institution/office, passport, etc. In India, under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1969, the birth is documented or registered by the registrar (secretary or official), who is usually part of the LSG office near the place of birth, i.e. the offices of panchayats/communities/societies. These offices regularly receive evidence and information from the person or institution who witnessed the birth and recorded it in their register. Based on the information contained in this register, they issue a birth certificate to the parents or local guardian. Everything has changed in the last 30 to 40 years; Wherever you go, you will be blocked if you are unable to provide proof of date of birth, new mobile login, new bank account, request service from government offices wherever an authenticated document needs to be presented by date of birth. Birth occurs in one place, be it in the hospital, at home, on the train, on the car, on the flight or on the boat. It must be documented by an authority for further reference. Once the birth is registered with an office, they can issue a certificate upon request.

The birth certificate is an authentic document indicating that the person concerned was born on that particular date and place. It contains details of the person`s name, gender, parents` names, parents` permanent address, registration number, registration date, date of issue and LSG office data with registrar`s signature and office postmark. Why would he prove that they were born on a certain date, and what is so important to remember that? Why should there be documented evidence?.
